Fashion lovers, mark your calendars—RVA Fashion Week (RVAFW) returns April 21-27, 2025, for its 17th year, bringing a high-energy mix of fashion, art, and culture to Richmond. This season’s lineup is packed with immersive experiences, avant-garde runway shows, and fresh talent, making it a must-attend for style enthusiasts.

New Leadership, New Vision

After a season of restructuring, RVA Fashion Week is stepping into a bold new era. “Our new leadership team is incredibly excited to grow into their roles,” says Jimmy Budd, co-founder and executive producer. “We’ve assembled a talented team that’s ready to deliver an unforgettable week of programming for Richmond.”

What’s on the Runway?

This year’s schedule is stacked with standout events, from emerging designer showcases to high-fashion spectacles that blur the lines between art and fashion. Here’s what you need to know:

Tuesday, April 22 – ‘Unveiled’ (Deco at CNB, 7-9:30 p.m.)
A runway showcase dedicated to rising designers who are redefining the future of fashion. Expect bold, original collections from talents like Omari Jade, Yanni, Model Maven, and Cuerazo Leathers.

Wednesday, April 23 – Wellness Wednesday (Various locations, 6 a.m.-8 p.m.)
RVA Fashion Week isn’t just about what you wear—it’s about how you live. Wellness Wednesday focuses on self-care and balance, featuring fitness sessions, workshops, and a community panel at The Workshop by T&D, exploring wellness in creative industries.

Friday, April 25 – ‘Flowism: Where Art Meets Fashion in Motion’ (Deco at CNB, 7-9 p.m.)
Fashion and art collide in this visually striking showcase. Expect designers like Aziancy and Gracist to transform garments into living, moving masterpieces.

Saturday, April 26 – ‘UNSCRIPTED: A Defiant Expression of Avant-Garde Fashion’ (Deco at CNB, doors open at 4:30 p.m., show 6:30-9:30 p.m.)
The pinnacle of RVAFW’s lineup, UNSCRIPTED is where avant-garde fashion takes center stage. Designers N5 Couture, Suit Brother, MADKAT, and more will showcase cutting-edge collections that challenge fashion norms with bold silhouettes, unexpected textures, and fearless storytelling.

Sunday, April 27 – ‘OFF GRID: The Streetwear Revolution’ (Deco at CNB, 12-5 p.m.)
Streetwear takes the spotlight in this high-energy finale. In partnership with Swap Meet RVA, OFF GRID celebrates the city’s street culture with collections from Pro Legacy, Dread Generation, NUBATI INDUSTRIES, and more. Expect a showcase of bold graphics, sneaker culture, and underground style influences.
